CAKE MENU

We’ve all been there, the joy of seeing a cake that looks amazing…

turns to disappointment when it fails to deliver on taste.

Here at Sugar and Chic all of the cakes are freshly made to order. I strongly believe that my cakes should taste as good as they look, therefore I only use the freshest and finest ingredients in my recipes including local free range eggs, real butter, Madagascan Vanilla, fine Belgian Chocolate and my own or top quality jam and preserves, like also home-made curds and pralines. All of my cakes contain perfectly even layers of cake filled with generous layers of heavenly light Swiss meringue buttercream and delicious preserves. Cakes can be coated with buttercream or a layer of delicious white chocolate ganache and a fine layer of the high quality Italian fondant icing for a smooth and sleek finish.

Allergen Information:

All of my cakes are produced in an environment where gluten, eggs, nuts, soya and dairy are present. And although all the care has been taken to eliminate cross contamination I cannot guarantee that my product will be free of traces.

Special Dietary Requirements:
Unfortunately, for the time being, I do not offer Gluten Free cakes.

VANILLA BUTTERMILK & RASPBERRY

ROSE, RASPBERRY & PISTACHIO PRALINE

Delicious Pistachio Sponge Cake, filled with Rose-Scented Swiss Meringue Buttercream, Sugar and Chic's signatory Rose Petal and Raspberry Jam and homemade crunchy Pistachio Praline.

LIME, WHITE CHOCOLATE & PASSIONFRUIT

Light and refreshing Lime infused Sponge Cake, filled with White Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream and a tropical flavour of homemade Passionfruit Curd.

COFFEE HAZELNUT PRALINE

Full of coffee flavour, light Buttermilk Sponge Cake layered with delicious Coffee Swiss Meringue Buttercream and crunchy Hazelnut Praline.

PINA COLADA

Delicious Coconut Sponge Cake filled with Malibu infused Swiss Meringue Buttercream and Pineapple Preserve.

VEGAN CHOCOLATE

An exquisite Dark Belgian Chocolate Sponge, filled with Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream and thick Chocolate Fudge Sauce.    

MATCHA TEA, WHITE CHOCOLATE & LEMON

Light and oriental Matcha infused Sponge Cake, filled with zesty homemade Lemon Curd and delicate White Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

PINK CHAMPAGNE & PEACH

Delicate and lightly scented Champagne flavoured Sponge Cake, filled with delicate Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream and Fruity Peach Preserve.

PECAN PRALINE & SALTED CARAMEL

Delicious and light Pecan Sponge Cake, filled with homemade Dulce De Leche Swiss Meringue Buttercream, crunchy Pecan Praline and homemade Salted Caramel Sauce.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE

Deliciously rich and moist Chocolate Sponge Cake made with Belgian Chocolate and filled with light Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

CARROT

A perfectly balanced Carrot Cake, packed with juicy Carrots, Pineapple and Walnuts. Filled with delicate Orange Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

VEGAN VANILLA BEAN & RASPERRY

Light and full of flavour Vanilla Bean Sponge, filled with Raspberry Swiss Meringue Buttercream and Raspberry Jam.
