LET'S TALK CAKE!

Here at Sugar and Chic I give each cake the full attention it deserves. Therefore I only take a very limited number of commissions each month in order to always keep to my high standard and provide the best possible service.

Once you have chosen your wedding date please get in touch as soon as possible through Cake Enquiry Form to check for availability and to reserve your date.

After our first contact I will provide you with an initial price guide based on the number of guests, size of the cake and its design. You can then secure your booking with a £100 ‘save the date’ non refundable deposit which will be deducted from your final price.

BESPOKE DESIGN PROCESS

I will initially liaise with you via email, phone and/or Zoom to discuss elements of your wedding cake design such as colours, flavours, floral arrangements and any other decorations you may wish to include.

If you wish, we may also arrange a mutually convenient time for a face to face consultation where we will talk in more detail through your cake design and the arrangements for your wedding day.

WEDDING CAKE TASTING EXPERIENCE

Once you are happy to proceed and the wedding cake booking fee is paid you will receive your complimentary Luxury Wedding Cake Tasting Box. It will consist of three generous portions of randomly selected sponge cake flavours, exquisitely packaged and delivered to your chosen address for you to sample at leisure.

I also appreciate that you may wish to taste my cakes before securing your date, therefore I can send the Cake Tasting Box to you at the cost of £30.00 (plus P&P).

FINALISING YOUR ORDER

After your design has been finalised and confirmed I will provide you with a final quotation. This will include cake size, flavour, decorations, delivery and any other requirements. When you are happy to proceed I will email you a copy of your Order Form along with terms and conditions for signature.

Payment is acceptable by bank transfer. The final balance of your order becomes due 28 days prior to your wedding day and I will stay in touch throughout the entire time before your wedding for any questions or queries you may have.

THE BIG DAY

I will deliver and set up your cake at the venue on the morning of your wedding at the time agreed in our contract. I will liaise with your wedding planner/coordinator directly to arrange this in the lead up to your wedding day.

Each wedding cake is hand delivered to all venues across London, Home Counties and The Cotswolds. A delivery charge is calculated on distance, travel and set-up time at the venue. The price of which will be included in your final quotation.

Unfortunately due to the size and fragility of most wedding cakes I do not offer customer collections. However small, intimate cakes can be collected from my home studio at an additional cost of £15.00 to cover the additional cost of packaging.
